The first generation of this mechanism was commonly used in the on neonized billboards dating back to the 1940's. Designed and quality built with reinforcements, this series mechanism supports hands for dial sizes to 22' in diameter. Like the smaller mechanisms National Time manufacturers, this series also utilizes worm / worm gear drive technology but on a much larger scale to handle the additional wind loads. Hands can be advanced with continuous drive advancement or impulsed each minute depending on the end users preference. Both are achieved with the use of a 115VAC 50Hz or 60Hz synchronous high torque gear motor. This series unit can also be mounted vertically for in-ground floral clock applications.

6MR-11MR

The MR synchronous versions keep time using the 60Hz power line. The synchronized motor provides smooth continuous movement of the hands. A National Time transmission advances the clock at 10 times speed with a single motor. A Master Clock Controller will automatically correct the time for power outages or daylight savings adjustments. A 970 Series remote manual switch can also be used to adjust the clock.

6MI-11MI

The MI minute impulse version advances incrementally each minute utilizing a single direction motor. An MC3-MI Master Clock Controller is required for operation and provides automatic correction. The MI series will not drift when employed in countries that do not regulate power line frequency or installations that may have generator backup power. An MC3-MI Master Clock with the 4 circuit expansion switches allows user to remotely adjust up to 4 clocks independently during installation or repair.
