The MC3 Master Clock comes standard with three solid state 120VAC outputs to directly control clock circuits without the need for additional relays. These solid state outputs are capable of driving up to 3 amps each (7 amps combined) and incorporate zero-cross technology to handle undesirable current surges and inrush. The large LED display and keypad are used for setting the time and master clock configuration. Each output circuit has a dedicated LED to indicate the circuit status. The MC3 uses power-line frequency to keep accurate time eliminating the inaccuracies of crystal oscillators found in other products.

All clocks can be automatically adjusted for daylight savings adjustments and power outages. When there is a power loss, the MC3 can keep time internally for over 150 days without the need for batteries or expensive rechargeable battery packs. The MC3 can correct the complete line of National Time clocks as well as clock systems by other manufacturers. The MC3 can even transmit National Time’s On-demand Instant Reset to new clocks over the clock system wiring without affecting the existing clocks. The MC3 can also synchronize time with a sound system, paging system, phone system, media retrieval system or an existing master clock with a synchronizing output.

Accessories

MC3-GPS Antenna. The MC3-GPS module enables the MC3 to receive accurate time information from up to 12 satellites. The communication between the MC3 and GPS antenna is supervised. During fault conditions, the master clock uses power-line frequency to keep time accurate. The standard outdoor mounting requires a 1” x 14 TPI pole (by others). The GPS antenna comes standard with a 30’ cable. Cable length may be extended to 100’ with 5 conductor shielded low capacitance cable.
