TimeCast™ clock products revolutionize wireless clock systems with their simple yet powerful technology. These clocks can function independently as stand-alone Wi-Fi clocks or integrate seamlessly into an RF wireless mesh system. Within this system, clocks utilize two-way radio frequency (RF) communication and license-free frequency bands to synchronize across your building in mere seconds. At the core of the system is a cost-effective and compact base station, which maintains accurate time by connecting to a local or internet-based Simple Network Time Protocol (SNTP) time server, ensuring precise time correction for all nearby clocks.
The TimeCast™ base station is a versatile Power-over-Ethernet unit that can also be installed using a 24VAC or 24VDC wall plug. A coin cell battery ensures maintenance-free operation by keeping time during power outages.
Each clock in the system acts as a transmitter, sending correction data to clocks farther from the base station. This flooding technique guarantees accurate time throughout your facility. The two-way RF communication allows every clock to send diagnostic data back to the base station, keeping your facility manager informed about signal strength, battery levels, and other metrics.
When operating as a Wi-Fi clock, the TimeCast™ clock connects to the building network to acquire time from a local time server or the National Time cloud service. The free cloud service records clock statuses, such as time synchronization check-ins and battery levels, and can notify building maintenance of issues before they disrupt business.
You can review your TimeCast™ clock data through our free National Time Device Cloud. This browser-based interface features current clock data and historical information to help you diagnose past problems and prevent them in the future. Create custom lists to view multiple clocks in a single view and receive reports by email to stay connected to your clock system’s performance.
Each TimeCast™ clock has a unique QR code for navigating to the Device Cloud. Alongside this QR code, you can find the easy-to-read clock user interface. This OLED display provides quick data about clock performance, such as signal reception and battery level. This display also provides onscreen instructions for streamlined setup, calibration and diagnosis. Say goodbye to unclear LED light indicators with the TimeCast™ system.
