Sheet Metal Fabricator

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description: Fabricate, assemble, and repair sheet metal products for fire alarm and clock equipment. Work may involve any of the following: setting up and operating fabricating machines to cut, bend, and straighten sheet metal; operating soldering and welding equipment to join sheet metal parts; verifying conformance of workpiece to specifications.

Required Skills:

• Ability to read and understand CAD drawings
• Communication with superiors and peers to organize and prioritize workload
• Ability to read and use a micrometer
• Understand and have experience with a press brake
• Mechanically inclined

Physical Requirements: Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs, including lifting, balancing, walking, sitting for long periods, and handling of sheet metal and other materials.
